About
Luciano Valier is a Brazilian–Italian documentary and street photographer with nearly four decades of professional experience. His work is centred on authentic people, real environments and unscripted human moments — imagery that resonates strongly in today’s editorial and commercial markets.
With an international background shaped by years living in London and over two decades travelling worldwide as an aviation professional, Luciano brings a global perspective and cultural sensitivity to every frame. Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian, he connects naturally with diverse communities, capturing genuine expressions and meaningful visual narratives.
Inspired by the humanist approach of Henri Cartier-Bresson, his photography avoids artificial staging and predictable stock clichés. Instead, he delivers natural light, real lifestyle situations, environmental portraits and documentary-style storytelling — ideal for editorial use, publications, branding and authentic marketing campaigns.
Now based in Vila do Conde, Portugal, he is developing a long-term documentary project focused on a traditional fishing community, further reinforcing his commitment to culturally rich, story-driven imagery.
Luciano’s portfolio offers buyers distinctive, credible and emotionally engaging visuals — photography with depth, character and true human presence.
